Welcome to PPF Farms Kennel

We only raise West Highland White Terriers (Westies). We breed for temperament, health, quality, and the conformity of the breed. We do not show our dogs, but stay as close as possible to the breed standard. Our puppies are handled and socialized from the day they are born until they are ready to be adopted. Our goal is to raise happy, healthy, playful puppies. All of our adult dogs and puppies get the best nutrition and veterinary care. We feed our puppies Nutri-Source Small -Medium Breed Puppy Food and our adults Iams Mini-Chinks. When the puppies are ready to leave us (around 9 weeks old) they will have their first shots, be de-wormed (every 2 weeks), and be vet-checked when they are around 7 weeks old. The puppies are vaccinated with Bordetella to help prevent kennel cough, they are vaccinated with Neopar (to prevent the parvo virus), and they have their first puppy shot which includes Canine distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza, and Parvo. These vaccinations are administered by us (the breeder). All of our puppies are born and raised here at our kennel. All of our puppies are sold directly from our kennel to individual families. We do not sell puppies to brokers, wholesalers, dealers, or petstores. We keep the puppies until they are 9 weeks old. We clean and sanitize our kennel on a daily basis.

WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN FOR DEPOSITS ON MALE AND FEMALE PUPPIES THAT WILL BE BORN  AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER 2017  READY FOR HOMES OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER 2017.

BREEDING PROGRAM

We breed for temperament, health, quality, and the conformity of the breed. When planning a litter the sire and dam are selected based on the above characteristics. We do not breed dogs that are related. We breed for one or two litters a month. Our dogs are not bred every time they have a heat cycle. We consult with our vet regularly.

OUR KENNEL FACILITIES

Our dogs are housed in a climate controlled kennel with a ventilation system. The air inside the kennel is exchanged with fresh outdoor air six to ten times per day. The dogs have an indoor area where their food, water, and toys are and an outdoor exercise area. The outdoor exercise area is under roof to protect the dogs from harsh.

VISITING GUIDELINES

1. We require appointments for visiting our kennel. Email or call if you would like to schedule an appointment. Puppies/Parents will only be shown with scheduled appointments.

2. The puppies must be 6 weeks old before they have visitors.

TESTIMONIALS

Bobbi Jo and Tim:
Time for an update on our Molly.  She's just 21/2 years old and still acts like a puppy.  It's hard to describe how much enjoyment she gives us.  She has spent two winters in Florida with us and soon we'll be on our way for a third.  Molly grew to 15 pounds and has not deviated more than a couple tenths over the past year or so.
She is a sound sleeper and usually spends the night between Gerry and I.
I've attached some photos of Molly.   The still shot shows her after she was groomed yesterday.  Hope your kennel is doing well and you continue to produce wonderful puppies like Molly.
Regards, Alex and Gerry

"Cooper is getting so big and losing that puppy look. He is full of personality and a good boy. We love him a lot!"

Thanks again
